VKR LOGISTICS SCOOPS HONOUR FOR THE SECOND YEAR RUNNING 2009

VKR Logistics again scooped the training and development award that they first won at the Winsford 1-5 Awards in 2008. VKR owner Vincent Riley said” to retain this award for the second time is fantastic as it shows our continued commitment towards training and development. I must thank all our staff and trainers for their continuous hard work”.

The Awards were a fantastic evening held at the Winsford Civic Hall and were attended by all staff.

VKR were the proud winners recently at the Winsford 1-5 Business awards collecting Both Training & Development and Business person of the year.

The company were absolutely thrilled with their achievement and Business manager Lucie Riley said’ It does not take just 1 individual to win an award like this but the effort that is contributed from the entire team’
These awards have come at a time when the company has been entered into 4 categories at the up and coming Vale Royal Business awards Managing Director Vinny Riley said’ The recognition that VKR Logistics are receiving at the moment is fantastic and is all complementary of a fantastic workforce.’

VKR scoop Training & Development Award for Borough

VKR logistics were proud winners at the Vale Royal Business awards held at the prestigious Portal Golf resort last week. It was an absolute honor to win these awards for the Borough after scooping the same award for the town earlier this year. The Event attended by all staff was a great night. Managing director Vinny Riley was also highly commended as Business person of the year. The company looks forward to another award winning year ahead.

VKR HIGHLY COMMENDED AS EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR AT CHESHIRE BUSINESS AWARDS 2008

VKR Logistics were last night highly commended as Employers of the year at the exclusive trinity Mirror Cheshire Business Awards. The Event held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Chester was hosted by ITN news reader Lucy Meacock and was attended by some of the most prestigious businesses from across the county. VKR Logistics came second to a business that divided its company into shares and gave all the shares to their employees; they also beat a number of companies to come runner up in this exclusive category. Business Manager Lucie Riley said” I am very proud of our achievements and of the qualifications that our staff have gained. This recognition is extremly important to all involved as it continually inspires them to develop themselves further. Several members of staff attended the function and extremly enjoyed the event.
